Tips on Celebrating Father's Day
Gift Ideas |
Always
on Father's Day we want to do something unique and special for our
father for all that he's done for us. This year don't let it be the
same thing, try some of these exciting crafts to celebrate your father.
1. Get a personalized mouse pad for your father, with his picture and signature printed on it for his computer.
2. If your dad
likes to take photographs, make a decorated scrapbook for him to keep
his photos in and write memories of his travels.
3. Create a
paperweight for the father who loves to write, it will keep all the
papers down on his desk with designed decor. Use a heavy rock, spray
paint it with glitter and paint and write how much you love your dad on
it.
4. Buy a plain
white coffee mug. Decorate it with bright colored paints using your
fingerprint showing you and your dad together. It'll make him glad
every time he drinks coffee or tea.
5. To help your father keep track with his keys, make him a bright colored key chain using paints, beads, and markers.
6. Create a book
of your own. Draw pictures and write short lines that tell how much you
appreciate what he does for you, color your pictures and fold the book
in half to keep it together.
7. Give Dad a
necktie that he'll really enjoy this Father's Day! One he can sink his
teeth into! Mix up a cake mix following the package directions. Now
pour batter into 1 cupcake holder, and the remainder into a rectangular
pan. Bake according to directions, and allow to cool. Remove the cake
from the pan, and cut in half lengthwise. Lay the pieces end to end on
cardboard, or a cookie sheet. Place the cupcake at one end of the cake.
Cut the other end of the cake into a V-shape. Now frost the cake and
decorate with M & Ms or other goodies to look like a tie!
